Roll the Rule

Co-Making Matters hosted the artist Nagham Hammoush and her new project Roll the Rule.

Nagham Hammoush studied Fine Arts (Printmaking) at Damascus University (BA) and Art in Context at Berlin University of the Arts (MA).Her focus is on the development of participatory and artistic projects and she is mostly concerned with the practice of art education. She focuses on the themes of migration, identity and feminism. Her works include screen printing, linocuts and performance.

Roll the Rule is composed of Market, Exhibition, Live Printing Workshop with linocut stamps, ‘Roll the Rule’ is a project for textile printing and handmade stamps. Her goal is to roll your own creative rule with art, passion, and love. The designs are inspired by nature, damask mosaics, and Mesopotamian culture. In the market, you can acquire or print your own cards, images, or bags.
